One day we'll leave this world below
We are following the leading band,
Walking daily one step at a time,
Till we meet in that happy Land.
God's beautiful city we'll see
Heavenly music we'll hear;
Let's keep marching on together,
And join all the Saints up there.
We'll step inside the gates of pearl
And walk the streets of gold;
Oh, such beauty we'll behold,
When we leave this world below.
Oh the joy sitting by the crystal stream
Walking and talking with our King;
We'll march to our mansions so bright,
Then we'll be clothed in pure Robes of white.
