Oft times bewildered we, forget
The who we really are
Perplexed beneath life's layers
All crumpled in our heart

So many painful memories block-
Pile up, until unsure
All identity becomes clouded
As life we just endure



While lying there, concealed
In fear of the unknown
Confused of what to do, to be
And feeling quite alone

But, God knows what is truth
Our life is always held in Him
He understands all quandary
And sees where we have been



In HIM, we can relax, be real
And open up our heart
We're safe, kept by His Son
He's known us from the start

It's what He says, that matters
His love can heal our fall
His Spirit love, the miracle
To make us fully whole



There's rest within His perfect will
The strength is Him today
His life in us assured
In love that ever stays
