August Is For Friendship
It's friendship month-to celebrate
The kindness that we share
Sister's day and brother's day
And all the ways we care
Yes, August is especially nice
For sending pretty cards
To say to every special friend
How very sweet they are
The summer heat is blowing by
The holidays are done
God has blessed, so we can give
Our friends a lot of love
Butterflies, daisy hugs
And my prayers to you I send
To say thankyou for always being
Such a very treasured friend
