~Today~

Today begins a new life
Today is all I have
I will forget the past
Though the past made me who I am



I will not think of the future now
For God made what will come my way
I cannot change all that's ahead
By wishing it would go away



Today is my begining
I will smile in sunshine and fly into the sky
I will not wonder what tomorrow holds
Or the reason why



Today, is forever,
I can get through one more day in time
Time is never ending
I will make it mine



Glory to The Father and The Son
He calls me to come
The Holy Spirit carries me
In everlasting love



Today, my loved ones are in heaven
Angels sing a song to welcome everyone
Today begins my new life
In Jesus, God's will shall be done
