Dear Father
We come to You this morning,
Beyond the dark of night,
To hearken to Your voice,
And draw unto Your light.

We bow before Your Presence
Your power, humbled, still,
Waiting and contrite,
Longing to be filled.

We look unto Your Kingdom
When You alone will reign,
Where heaven, will be earth
And all will cry Your Name.

If You might yet love through us
That we may do Your will,
To share Lord, of Your peace,
Your heart to e'er fulfil.

Thank You for Your gifts of grace,
Your sustenance of bread,
Provision, care and comfort
So all are amply fed.

Forgive us through the blood You shed
By the love You died to give,
So we may love each other
And every ill forgive.

Keep us safe from every foe,
Each draw of earth that comes,
Please guard our hearts and minds
And hold us in Your love.

May we relinquish hold
Of controlling every ill,
To know Your freedom, love and life,
Lord, reign just as Thou wilt.

Poetry From The Heart

God wants you to move through this day with a quiet heart,
a peaceful certainty that your life is in His hands,
a deep trust in His plan and purposes, and a thankful disposition toward all that He allows.
He wants you to put your faith in Him, not in a timetable.
He wants you to wait on Him and wait for Him. In His perfect way He will put everything together
...see to every detail...arrange every circumstance...
and order every step to bring to pass what He has for you.
Blessings,
~ Roy Lessin ~
