Try to remember the way we once were
Rainbows reaching the sky
Try to remember the songs from the birds
In beach ruffled winds
White wings as they fly
Can we remember the days that were good
And forget
When tears fell from our eyes

I wish we could stay in forgotten times
When all of our family we could feel
Go back to when we were children
And those who loved us were real

Back then, I never dreamed
They would all be in heaven one day
So I try to remember how it was
And always care for those gone away

Peace in the wavelets
Ocean spray, pretty, green
I wish we could have those picnics again

God, thank you for days that we had
I will try to remember
Loved one's happy faces anew
Then I will close my eyes
and in memories, dream it is true
