We need to pray for people,
when they come into our mind
For, we never know the prompting,
may be at a very needful time.



We need to pray for those
who come into our dreams
For, we never know their presence,
may mean more than it seems.



We never know that moment,
what protection God will send
Surrounding them with angels
their spirit to defend.



We are as warriors at war,
for evil to be shunned
We need to pray when prompted
so the person will feel loved.

Without faith there can be no prayer,
no matter how great our helplessness may be.
Helplessness united with faith produces prayer.
Without faith our helplessness would only
be a vain cry of distress in the night.
