Some call them heroes,
Others call them brave
They are lying beneath foreign sod.

Some call them soldiers,
Others a shield
But I call them angels sent from God.



Many have fallen
From fire of the enemy
As others would rush

Tears would dampen

While listening to taps.

Cold wet fox-holes
At times were their bed
Some still remain forever a grave.

Fighting to keep
Our land and us free
Not thinking of quitting,
their life freely gave.



Let's pause for a moment
As we give our God thanks
For those who are serving for you and for me.
Without hesitation they step to the plate saying,
"Here Am I, Send Me, Send Me!"
