I watch as the snow gently falls
Not a sound does it make
The wonder of this beautiful sight
The design of each snowflake.
They blanket the land in glorious white
It makes everything look so clean
Inches upon inches of snow has fallen
Creating such a beautiful scene.
Each snowflake that starts tumbling down
Creates a calmness surrounding me
I'm lost in the beauty of it all
And then wonder is filled with glee.
Idon on my coat, boots, and hat
I'll take a walk through the snow
Taste the flakes upon on tongue
And remember the times of long ago.
When I was little and we got lots of snow
We were never kept confined
We'd romp and play all day long
Build forts we could hide behind.
We'd build snowmen and make snow angels
It's funny I remember these things
Just take a walk through the snow
You'd be surprised at what memories it brings.
