Through the foggy mist of a cold winter day
We watched the beauty of a winter sunset
As it slowly moved out of sight across the way
God blessed us with a priceless display.

A winter sunset of beautiful splendor
With streaks of red, yellow, pink and gold
Sinking slowly in a pale grey sky
Was a rare painting God gave us to behold.



The wonder of God's great beauty
Fills our souls with delight
Our hearts feel tender emotions
To see such a glorious sight.

God's awesome creations are for you and me
Each new season He changes the scene
The beauty of a winter sunset is free
God plans all things the way they should be.
