My Quiet Time With God
I enjoy my morning quiet time
Talking to Jesus, hearing His voice,
He whispers,come to me, I have lots of time,
"I love you my child", you are mine.
As I linger in His presence
Sharing all my hurt and pain,
He comes to me with bless assurance,
Stay close to Me, my love you'll gain.
Then I tell Him of my hurts
He whispers, don't be scared,
I have you in My strong arms,
No one can hurt you there.
Sometimes we ask God to have mercy on us
We ask Him to forgive, He always does,
He restores our joy and helps us stand,
He says, I will never let go of your hand.
When we leave it all with Jesus
He mends all our hurt and fears,
Feeling His strong arms around us,
He lifts us up, and wipe's our tears.
God speaks in His still small voice
And my heart just leaps and rejoice,
Just linger in My presence, Child,
I will be with you all the while.
