Thank you Lord, for all your gifts
Sometimes we see a shooting star that drifts
Earth, sun and stars that light the sky
All Blessed by God for you and I.
Magnificent creatures in our sky and ocean
Amazing flight, and swimming motion
Rising sun that lights our mornings
Each new sunrise is never boring.
Gentle afternoon casts its shadows
Everywhere and to the meadows
Even the tiniest flower lifts its face
All God's creatures know their place.
We are thankful for each new day
Whether we are at work or play
God protects all with His love and Spirit
It matters not of each person's merit.
Each has its own intricate creation
No two alike are exact specifications
God's wonders for all to take
Depends on you what you will make.
