The colors of the aspen trees intertwine
Bringing such beauty that our eyes shine,
Lovely golden color beyond compare
Showing off autumn's festive flair.

Looking in the meadow you can see
Small creatures scamper in the leaves
Tossing them up into the air
As they slowly fall from the trees.
A season of splendor, the aspen trees
With bright golden yellow leaves
Soon they will all disappear
This is nature's way of saying winter is near.

The leaves of the aspen fall with ease
Gently quaking in the breeze
They are touched by God above
Showing autumn colors of His love.
