Knowing not where to go,
Nor what to do,
I take sweet solace
That I have You,
For surely You guide,
Surely You lead,
Surely You provide
My every need.
The way You make
Straight and clear,
You strengthen my heart,
Erasing each fear.
The gray skies You make
Brilliant and blue,
Yes, everything is beautiful
Because I have You.
So I will not worry,
I will not lose heart,
For I know from my side
You will never part.
Faithfully to my hand
You will always cling,
Reminding me always
Of goodness You bring.
Today and tomorrow,
Now and every day
I will rejoice in Your love,
In Your purposeful way.
You make this way
Straight and clear,
You shine upon my face,
Kissing away each tear.
Surely You provide
My every need,
With riches of Your love
My soul You feed.
Yes, I take sweet solace
