Stilling my soul,
Quieting my heart,
Alone with You
This day to start,
To hear Your voice,
Your whispers to me,
To see Your wisdom
Ever clearly,
To savor Your love,
To feel Your embrace,
To bask in the beauty
Of Your grace..
Yes, in the stillness
Your voice I hear
Ringing with beauty
Crystal clear.
Distractions ‘round me
Now fall away,
As I still my heart
To hear all You say.
Help me then, Lord,
My heart to still,
To always hear You,
To heed Your will,
That I may rejoice
In You all the more,
That love from my heart
Will freely pour.
Teach me, Jesus,
To always hear You,
To quiet my mind
To hear wisdom true..
Yes, still my soul,
Quiet my heart,
From Your side, Lord,
Never will I part!
