Sometimes it's hard in families, to keep it all content
There's many complex issues
That arise to cause upset.
The tender ones get hurt, by words that fly in jest
And underlying heartaches
Surface then to bring unrest.



If it's discussed we know confusion may result,
But, then if nothing is resolved
More hurt is piled on top.
And so we pray Lord Jesus, give us love from You
Heal our hearts from fear
So pain will not accrue.



Help us all to work out, the ones we need to seek,
To sort out what's behind the mysteries
So You can heal the rift.
Grant us courage from your heart, to speak and act in love,
So we won't be afraid by all that's said and done.



In You we are secure, we need to trust in You
That Your love will keep us safe
And show us what is true.

Poetry from the Heart

At the end of our life
we will not regret the tests unpassed.
the verdicts not won nor the loss of closing
one more deal, but we will cherish
the time spent lovingly with a
husband, a friend, a child, or a parent.
Contentment comes from the joy
of being forgiven, caring deeply,
enjoying simply, thinking gratefullly,
living for all who will last forever.
