We are here for but a moment
Thinking we have so much time
So we waste away the hours
Looking for something to find
After a while we look back
And wonder where all the years have gone
Wasted on looking for something
We had all along
Jesus gave us life
It came with no instructions
He planted a seed, and watched it grow
Hoping all along, wanting us to know
To live that life, with love and care
Hoping we don't waste what he had to share
WE all have one life, what we do with it is our choice
Many of us will live it in pain, Many of us will rejoice
May Jesus put sweet thoughts in your head
So the days you have left, you will not dread
Love in your heart, peace in your soul
So no pain, hardships, sadness or hurt
Will ever stop you from reaching your goal.
