We thank the Lord for Glenna
Who blessed us with God's love,
Who lived to cheer us all
With goodness from above.
She saw God in each flower,
Each field of golden grain,
And wrote to us of heaven
In sunshine or in rain.
Our sympathy we send to Bob
Glenna's husband, dearest friend,
Who loved her sacrificially
A hero among men.
Our prayers surround his heart
For comfort from the Lord,
Now Glenna's safe with Jesus
The Saviour she adored.

Poetry From The Heart
Today, the world seemed cruel, but evening hours
Were filled with perfume from forgotten flowers.
I saw again familiar filigree
Of moonlight through my lilac tree.
I heard the robins stirring in their nest,
And saw the path that angel feet had pressed;
Reflected stars were in my garden pool;
On my face the breeze was kind and cool.
The silence seemed to speak, my head was bowed,
Then ramblers that had grown into a cloud
Lifted my eyes that, tear-washed, now could see
The beauty that today was lost to me.
