As I walk through the fields
Where the daisies play
A soft breeze blowing
What a wonderful day.

The sweet scent of evening
Everything done, nothing to do
My thoughts ramble as I stroll
That's when I think of you.

My dearest friend, one I adore
I would like to say
Your friendship is so special
More and more every day.

As I watch the fresh white daisies
As they sway to and fro
I think of my very special friend
And I wanted you to know.
