Today we won't have Monday 'blues'
For Mondays are most blessed,
When God is our most precious friend
And in His perfect love we rest.



Held always by His hand of love
We praise Him for each day,
Enthroned within His glory
His goodness as our stay.



Then we can sure look forward
To whatever He will bring,
Of comfort, peace and gladness
To make our spirit sing.
