And that will be friendship
Hearts turned to the sky,
Like daisies in sunshine,
Face, where they find....
Nourishment, warmth,
All goodness and life,
So, we'll turn to Jesus
For His perfect light.
And that will be friendship
As one in His love,
Our lives will be blessed
By His smile from above.
We'll live for the pleasure
Of each other's good,
To joy in the other
With love understood.
To step in their shoes
To feel of their pain,
That their life be honored
In sunshine and rain.
And that will be friendship
Where we will know love,
All praise to our Father,
In His life, we come.
