The softness of this cushion comes
For pillowing your tousled head,
To tuck in with your teddy bear
All snuggly in your little bed.
Warm and safe this chilly night
To softly still your little sigh,
Dream now your very sweetest dream
Floating in the starlit sky.
Your loving angel I will bid
Be close and warm for you to keep,
For I am near, My love is real
To watch you while you rest in sleep.
Trust Me now, My will be done
For I will all the dark dispel,
Believe that I am holding you
And every heart you love as well.
