Lord hold me close to Your heart I pray
Let me hide near Your sweet Breast;
There's a aching in my heart that I can't bear,
Oh Lord please send Peace for my rest.
Lord, I'm clinging close to You just now
Thanking You for Your sweet Peace;
Forever I'll rest on God's Celestial shore,
In my mansion with loved ones forever more.
What riches is mine resting in peace
Giving all to my Saviour and King;
Enjoying the blessings that He sends my way,
Sweet peace, Oh sweet peace He brings.
Oh soul, are you tired and weary within?
Heading down the wrong path of life;
Jesus waits with His arms open wide,
Oh Friend, Will you let Him in?
Peace peace, God's sweet peace
Flowing down from His throne above;
Oh cleanse my heart today Lord I pray,
Shower me with sweet blessings of Love.
