When we first met
Our eyes did meet
Kindness is what I saw
Especially your humble greet
Friends we were at first
Time passed and love grew
Inseparable were we
A love so true
Our hearts became one
Soon after soul mates
Dances and parties we went
Many wonderful dates
Together we saw the morning sun
Evenings we saw beautiful sunsets
You became my best friend
Leaving old lives behind never regrets
Staying up late to chat
Learning each others traits
Happiness was our muse
Having Shakespeare debates
Listening to music in front of the fireplace
Laughing and spending time together
Joking and teasing we did a bit
We had fun even in bad weather
Swimming and sunbathing pictures we took
As time passed memories we found
Vacations were always special
Words from you so profound
Picnics and cookouts we had
You came into my life
Everything changed
I found a love so bright
