The gray days grow
Luminously bright,
The sunshine glows
Through dark of night,

The joyful songs spring
From depths of sorrows,
Mournful yesterdays
Become blissful tomorrows,

Endless valleys
Become tops of the mount,
The parched desert
Becomes the flowing fount..

So here and now
When the tears do fall,
Your Name, Sweet Jesus,
I do call.

Surely You wipe

Your kisses fall

And To Your hand
