The wind may blow,
The rain may fall,
Yet happy I am
Amidst it all,
The storm may rage,
The sky turn gray,
Yet protected I am
Day by day,
The challenges may
Loom before me,
Yet my eyes are set
On eternity..
For I have You,
My Lord, my King,
Yes, I have You,
My everything.
No storm can distress me,
No obstacle is too high,
No cloud is too dark
In the expansive sky.
You hold my hand,
You lead Heaven-bound,
So sweetest peace
In You I’ve found.
Surely You lead
My soul to eternity,
Jesus, You give
Every good thing to me.
You are the sunshine
Melting away the gray,
You are the light
Paving my way.
Yes, happy I am
Though the rain may fall,
As You, Jesus,
Are here through it all!
