My heart grows weary,
Tears from my eyes flow.
How can I go on further?
How long must I go?
My head in my hands,
I weep amidst the trial;
Then I think of Jesus,
I feel my heart smile.
Run to my Savior,
With Him I must speak;
Run to my Jesus,
His face I now seek.
Yet I need not move,
For I see Him appear;
Child, I am with you always,
Forever I am near.
Kneeling before Him,
Lord, I came to talk to You;
Your heart I long to please,
Show me what to do.
From my tired eyes
He wipes away the tears,
Let My love embrace you,
Cast upon Me all your fears.
Nothing happens, My daughter,
Outside My perfect will;
Even in the trials,
I am with you ever still.
All things I work for good,
At all times you I love;
I have treasures prepared for you
In your Home above.
Worry not then, My child,
When you stumble on your way;
I am near you, beloved,
Guiding all you do and say.
My hearts sings with joy now,
For God's graces to me flow;
How I delight in this pathway,
As with me my Jesus does go.
