~Always There For Each Other~

Romance altho scarce or far away
we are still there for each other every day
always ready to lend a helping hand
giving protection from sifting sand
sharing what ever we have to give
all days of life that we both shall live



Past would not be past without you in it
present would not be present every minute
without you to share my life and all it contains
my happiness would be less with more pains
together we are for better or for worse
years rapidly passed and were terse.



Lifetime of yesterdays pass into tomorrows
blended with joys, leaving a few sorrows
battles raging within along with sunny days
included nights of bliss with passions ablaze
endured days of coldness froze with despair
but for each other we have always been there.



Darkness in the light has not held us aground
comfort and peace with us will always abound
a treasure we found and we won't let go
holding with determination when going is slow
thankful for each minute, hour, day, and year
not regretting anything we may have to austere.
