Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge,
even the most High, thy habitation;
There shall no evil befall thee,
neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
For he shall give his angels files15/charge over thee,
to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in their hands,
lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

~ We Needn't Fear Alzheimer's ~

We need not fear Alzheimer's
For its being will not harm
We will not lose our love
But be held in pleasant calm

We cannot lose our spirit
God holds us in His hand
We will not lose our faith
For God we'll understand

Our senses will be heightened
Just as a toddler's is
We will feel important things
And know of joy and bliss

We'll read another's language
Beyond the merest word
For feelings will be known
And all that holds true worth

While those around may struggle
To face their inner fears
We will be held secure
As Jesus will be near

He'll carry us each moment
And whisper secrets that we need
We'll not forget His love
Though others may be grieved

Our mind will go where truth
And reality exist
Where all that is of heaven
Can often be so missed

Alzheimer's then may prove
To be a precious gift
To take us close to Jesus
Where we forever live
