Come close, My child,
I have something to share;
Let me hold you close
And wipe away each tear.

I want you to know
Never alone are you;
Feel this in your heart,
Know this to be true.



Every tear you shed,
I shed with you also;
Every pain you feel
My heart, too, does know.

So, My little child,
Remember this each day;
I am with you in all things
Every step of the way.



Never do you cry
Without compassion from Me;
My heart aches with yours,
As you are Mine eternally.

So look up at Me, child,
As I wipe away tears;
Feel the warmth of my love
As it melts away fears.



Take heart that your Jesus
Is with you in all things;
Rejoice in the abundance
My heart ever brings.

Smile in the knowledge
That I love you always;
I am with you, My child,
For all of your days.



Cling to My hand,
Never alone are you;
Feel this deep in your heart,
Know this to be true.

And rejoice, My child,
In the graces I share;
Never alone are You,
I carry your every care.
