The early morning was quiet except for the sounds
of God's creatures welcoming in the new day
Such a perfect day I thought as I gazed at the heavens above
The wind gently blew and the sun beamed down upon the earth



Soft white clouds drifted lazily by as I watched them float
so freely in the clear blue sky
What a wonderful day, a day to be alive, a day to give thanks
to our Lord for all He gives us so freely



A new day has begun to live life to the fullest
and be the best we can be
To be alive and serve the Lord with a grateful heart
until one day when He calls us home



And we can stand before Him as He sits upon the great white throne
And we can thank Him for all he has done.
and to hear the words from him saying
Welcome my child, congratulations on a job well done.
