My wasted yesteryears are gone
When I walked a pathway of sin
An angel spoke and I realized
I needed God's peace within.
I felt joy when God forgave me
And cleaned my life of all sin
Now I walk a pathway of happiness
God blessed me with peace within.
God filled me with His loving grace
My life is no longer my own
One day I will see His loving face
Having peace within, my fear is gone.
God touched me with His spirit
His gifts provide my every need
Best of all He gives me peace within
A treasured gift of His love indeed.
