Tho' my life's journey has been weary and long
Many times in life my choices have been wrong
But now, JESUS opened my Spiritual Eyes to see
No matter what is ahead, LORD, let me not pity me

Sometimes I foolishly compare myself to another
Judging my afflictions against the afflictions of others
But GOD's Master Plan molds us to be what He wants us to be
No matter what is ahead, LORD, let me not pity me

Teach me to be like Peter, Paul and You LORD JESUS
Because JESUS, You know what is best for each of us
Bless me to grow in Faith and Wisdom so I can see
No matter what is ahead, LORD, let me not pity me

JESUS, You are the Son of GOD, LORD and KING
Just knowing You in Your Greatness gives me praises to sing
You give me Hope and True Promises that one day I will be free
Thank You JESUS, because now I have no reason to pity me!
