Rest here, My child,
Yes, in My arms rest,
Do you see, My child,
I work all for best?

Do you witness
How gray skies turn blue?
Do you see how the snow
Does the soil renew?

Do you marvel
How the songbird sings?
Do you delight
How I work in all things?

So rest here, My child,
Give Me your cares;
Cling to Me, child,
Cast on Me your fears.

Naught can you give
That I cannot carry;
So why do you pause,
Why do you tarry?

Lean on Me now,
Rest in My arms,
Remember My presence
Comforts and warms.

Each and every moment
Joyfully savor
As you rest in My arms,
Rest in My favor.

Surely your gray skies
I will turn to blue,
As truly infinite is
My love for you.

Yes, rest here, My child,
In My arms do rest,
Delighting in how I
Work all for the best!
