My Gentle Saviour
My loving gentle friend and Savior
Who died and came to set me free,
I've heard of that beautiful city,
Where I will live for all Eternity.
I will share in the beauties of Heaven
And sit by the crystal flowing river,
My praise and worship forever will be,
The Love of Jesus, who died for me.
He left Heaven's best to dwell among men
He walks and talks with us each day,
Listen today while the Spirit still calls,
He is tenderly and lovingly calling again.
Oh lift your heart and voice to Him
As we think of His sacrifice at Calvary,
Many times His heart still breaks,
While many rejects, His love and Grace.
All glory to Jesus, the Savior of men
He changes not, He is forever the same,
Left heaven's best to earth He came,
Bore all my sin, my guilt and shame.
