God's Seasons

The warmth of the summer sun,
Is all but faded away.
All to soon, the chilling winds
Will be here any day.

Though the winter snows and blowing winds,
Also show their glow.
Those sunny days, and blue skies,
Will be back all to slow.

No more birds, to sing their song,
No more scents of flowers
Icy stencils form their glitter,
On the windows, to stare at for hours.

The trees they all once were green,
Have changed to branches bare.
Remembering the leaves and flower buds,
Thinking of what once was there.

Though winters bring about
In their own special way,
Beauty that has no bounds,
Changing every day.

Glittering snow, icy trees,
Snowmen everywhere.
Snowball fights, frosty hands
Chilling cold that bites.

I wouldn't change it for anything,
For this is GOD'S reason...
For giving us all the beauty
In each and every season.
