Lord, I marvel
How well You know me,
Yes, You have known me
For all eternity.
The number of my hairs,
The thoughts in my mind,
The steps I travel,
My place in mankind,
The beats of my heart,
The breaths I do take,
The fibers of my being,
The inner songs I make,
The joy I feel,
The pain I know too,
Nothing in my life
Is hidden from You.
How could You care
To know me so well?
This amazes me
More than words can tell.
Worship You I will
With my very all,
Heeding Your whisper,
Indeed Your every call.
I ask only, my Jesus,
That more of You I know
So more of Your sweet love
To others I show.
Help me to show
How You transform the mind
And that infinite is Your love
For all of mankind.
So well You know us,
Who we are, who we will be,
Yes, You have known us all
For all of eternity!
