My Lord, I know
You take me as I am and love me
And sing me a lullaby, softy
Teach me to love, never to cry
You hold a lovely rose in your hand
You dress in glory, like the sky

When I look up at the sun,
I can see the light rays dance
Birds sit on your fingertips and sing
I know just how much your Father loves you
I want to touch your gentle face



I know You call me Jesus,
to tell how You died and then arose
So we could have eternal grace
Thank you my Lord for taking me as I am
You see inside my heart which is fragile
And put Your beauty deep within



Thy eyes which look at me, tell me I am God's child
Because of love, You speak in silence
I hear your gentle lullaby every day
I live for a reason
in Your hope, Your love and faith
