I read about it in the papers
I see it in the news
What happened to the Children
Who went missing, oh so soon
Where are all the loved ones
To give them love and care
How glad I am they're now in heaven
Where we all will see them there
Thank You Jesus, Savior
You heal them from the pain and hurt
Carried them on angel's wings
Swept away from men of earth
Oh, what happened to the Children
So innocent and good
Why did those who took them
Do this, just because they could
Lord, hold these little Children
Battered, beyond belief
My love is with their spirit
Blown to Jesus for relief
On posters here, I see them
Milk bottle tags as well
Give me understanding, Lord
And a little hope as well
What happened to the Children
We all hear about and love
They all are little heroes
In Jesus glory up above.
Forever He will keep them
In the life of everlasting love
Now beautiful and pure
With white wings like little doves

But Jesus called the children to him and said,
