Yesterday and today,

Jesus Christ, You are the same,

Endless and true:

I have in You.



How can my heart then
Ever choose to fear
When You, Alpha and Omega,
To me are near?

How can my eyes
Distressed tears shed
When for me on the Cross
You have bled?



How can my spirit
Grow weary and weak
When eternal life I find
In the words You speak?

Yea, now and forevermore,
Yesterday and today,
You lead me faithfully
Upon Your way.



My heart, my eyes,
My soul and spirit too
Shall forever rejoice
In love I find in You.
