In the care of you, I find a shelter
To speak with you, I find it safe,
Enclosed within the love of God,
In talk with you, all fear abates.

With truth revealed unto our hearts
As friends for aye, I cannot wait,
To share of all His life with you
And delight in everything you say.

Enclasped we are within His hand
Protected by His words we read,
His wisdom flows down from above
God's promises are all we need.

A shelter 'tis with you to speak
For how in Him we've laughed and cried,
What greater gift on earth could be
Than all He's given you and I.
