God sent to me His birdies
Little tokens of His love,
I sit here, hushed to listen
As He whispers from above.
I need His song today
Refreshment from His lips,
I need to know His presence,
His tender, gentle kiss.
The little birdies sing and play
I can but watch and smile,
The music that they bring
Will cheer my heart a while.
And then a magpie waddles by,
She cocks her head to say,
God gives me worms to eat-
He'll meet your need today.

John 14:8-9 (KJV)
Philip saith unto him,
Lord, show us the Father,
and it sufficeth us.
Jesus saith unto him,
Have I been so long time with you,
and yet hast thou not known me, Philip?
he that hath seen me hath seen the Father;
and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
